- NHS Core site is built using to include all the standard EPiServer templates, so the full feature set of EPiServer is preserved. These templates have been extended to provide NHS Guidelines compliance, including colours, menu styles and accessibility enhancements. We have enhanced the CSS sheets to provide easier colour and style management, consistent with NHS Guidelines
- We have enhanced the menus to provide better, deeper site structure.
- Furthermore we have added in additional placeholders for logo's typically used for NHS, NHS Direct and the organisation's logo.
- We have added additional right hand side 'widgets' for listing associated pages and a Free Text widget (for anything they want)
- There are a number of entirely new templates providing a more appropriate, flexible Home page, a powerful file/document listing function (which automatically shows, for example, Information Leaflets or other documents stored in a folder on the server) and a sophisticated FOI template.
- There are a number of other general tweaks and improvements, plus access to further upgrades as they are developed.
- Importantly we also have negotiated special NHS pricing, which saves £5k on the licensing cost when hosted with us.
