• Our database staff are fully qualified – we have both Microsoft Certified Data Base Administrators (MCDBA) and Oracle Certified Professionals (OCP)

As well as the project based services we offer around design, installation and consultancy, ioko offers on-going database management services focusing on ensuring that our customers’ database systems remain operational when required (including 24x7x365).

We currently support implementations ranging from single server departmental databases through to mission critical production databases or terabyte-scale data warehouses running on complex clustered infrastructures.

We offer services across multiple vendor databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and IBM DB2/UDB) and for both transactional and data warehouse style implementations.

Core to this service is comprehensive monitoring using proven tools such as Big Brother and NetIQ and BMC Patrol. The ioko standard service includes patch management with upgrade services available as an optional extension. Appropriate elements focusing on security and disaster recovery are also offered.

In addition to the standard database services described above, we also offer specialist skills in some of the more complex/unique aspects of certain vendor databases e.g. Oracle Real application cluster (previously known as Parallel Server), Microsoft SQLServer Active cluster configurations, DTS and Analysis server.
