Infrastructure and Application Support

We can run an organisation's infrastructure or application end-to-end and 24x7. We cover the entire technology stack from the network and operating system right up to and deep into the application itself. We can also assist with the refresh or consolidation of existing IT infrastructures server-to-desktop.

In particular we have helped NHS organisations implement infrastructure management tools such as Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) and Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), plus security products and applications. These have generated substantial savings for our clients in their cost of desktop and server support.

 

We ensure we deliver great services through a strong but flexible operational framework based around the disciplines of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). This framework describes how we perform the basic processes such as change management, incident response, configuration management, and release management. We’ve successfully applied this framework to services that are completely outsourced to us as well as global services whose ownership and responsibilities span ioko teams, client teams and third parties.

We organise ourselves into service delivery teams around the different layers of the technology stack.  From bottom-to-top we can provide support for the wide variety of infrastructures used by our clients to support their applications. We have developed a broad range of skills across the most common types of hardware, operating systems, monitoring toolsets, security products and systems management tools. 

 

We are able to provide the Microsoft range of Infrastructure Optimisation Initiative technologies and services, especially SMS and, MOM, plus the new products such as ForeFront.
