How to get an NHS URL?

Creating ordinary www. addresses is pretty simple, someone tells us which URL(s) they want, we then register them and apply them to the site when required; clients should allow around 4 days to do the registration, setup and to let the change fully propagate around the internet.

Adding nww addresses (on N3 or NHSnet) or .nhs.uk addresses is a little more difficult. We do not (are not allowed to) deal with the DNS setup for N3 or nhs.uk domains, as these are only available to bona fide NHS organisations.
Connecting for Health deal with allocating these and the associated DNS registration since taking this role over from NHS IA.
